Christmas @ The Creek

Hello Howard’s Creek Church Family!  I hope each of you had a marvelous Thanksgiving Holiday.  We were grateful that we had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at home in Florida with some of our friends and family.  While we enjoyed our time there, we were excited about getting back to our Howard’s Creek Family.

Yesterday, we continued our study in the book of Galatians and examined the great benefits that we have through the work of Jesus Christ.  We saw that the justification that Christ provides gives us peace with God.  His justification allows us to have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe.  We also are able to live with the peace of knowing that when we leave this earth we will spend eternity with Him.  The last benefit of justification is that we are now able to live with a life of hope.  We can know that Christ has given us the victory over sin and death!

Since we are so excited at Howard’s Creek Church about what God has done on our behalf, it is imperative that we tell others the good news of Jesus Christ.  This week, we have that opportunity by inviting our friends and neighbors to our Live Nativity – A Hallelujah Christmas, December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th from 6 – 9 PM.  It is going to be an event to remember!

Also for all of you ladies that enjoy a new accessory, there will be a Scarf Gift Exchange Party at Howard’s Creek Church on Monday, December 16th.  Make sure you RSVP to Jennifer Wandler by this Sunday!

Well, I hope that each of you have an incredible week and I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

Love you guys!

For the Kingdom!

Pastor Chris
